Sale labels in Chinese, a working glossary
This glossary covers the jargon of timed sales as it appears on Chinese listings and on an agent's copy of them. The terms are grouped loosely in the order you meet them: the flash slot, the countdown, the release, the cap, the entry, the group, and the two words that separate wanting an item from owning it.
- 秒杀Flash slot. A small stock at a low price for a few minutes, usually opening on the hour.
- 整点On the hour. The usual opening time of flash slots.
- 即将开抢Opening soon. The grey button before a flash slot starts.
- 已抢光All snapped up. The slot stock has gone.
- 限时折扣Time-limited discount. A lower price with an end time; the item stays on sale after it.
- 距结束Until the end. Printed in front of a countdown timer.
- 活动价Event price. The price inside a campaign or slot.
- 预热Warm-up. The period before an event when the coming price is shown but not yet charged.
- 即将开售On sale soon. A scheduled release that cannot be bought yet.
- 开售提醒Sale reminder. Notifies the account that pressed it.
- 限购Purchase limit. Caps pieces per account, address, phone or order.
- 已达购买上限Limit reached. The checkout refuses more.
- 预约Reservation. Booking before the sale; only bookers may buy.
- 抽签Draw. Entrants are drawn at random for the right to buy.
- 中签Won the draw. The account may buy within a short window.
- 拼团Team-up price. A lower price once enough buyers have paid.
- 成团Group formed. The team-up target was met in time.
- 拍下Order placed. Not yet paid.
- 付款Paid. The purchase is made at the terms shown at checkout.
- 已售罄Sold out. No stock left for that option.
Questions readers send about timed orders
These editorial questions cover the decisions a timed order raises. Where an answer depends on a current CNFans procedure that we have not verified, the page states that limit.
Can CNFans buy at the exact minute a flash slot opens?
The archived CNFans pages made no such promise and gave no purchasing hours. Agents usually work through paid orders in rounds, so assume not, unless the agent confirms otherwise before you pay.
Does paying early hold a timed price?
No. The price is applied when the purchaser pays the seller. Paying the agent early only puts your order in the queue sooner.
What happens to my money if the item sold out?
Confirm the refund destination, any deductions and the next step for withdrawing a balance before paying. The saved help-menu title alone does not establish CNFans’s current refund procedure or a completion time.
Why was I asked to pay more than the listing showed?
A price difference can have several causes: option choice, quantity, delivery, fees or an ended promotion. Compare the itemised amounts and ask why they changed before agreeing to a top-up or cancellation.
Can the agent enter a draw for me?
Draw entries are tied to a verified person, so in practice no. An agent order can still reach stock sold without a draw.
Is there a way around a purchase limit?
This site does not suggest one. The limit is the seller's decision; order within it, or choose a listing without a cap.
Are the catalog prices current?
A catalog card shows a price read at one moment. If that moment was inside a timed sale, the figure may no longer exist.
What time zone are listing times in?
Beijing time, UTC+8, all year. Taobao states its own rule deadlines the same way.
Where help for an order comes from
If something goes wrong with an order, help can only come from the agent. During the maintenance period the CNFans notice pointed customers with order questions to [email protected]; write from the email address on your account and quote the order number.
For an account or order question, use the contact route in the current official CNFans notice. This independent guide cannot access orders.
Timed-order stories from community threads
The linked community cases in our order guide are dated individual reports about payment, purchasing and warehouse stages. They help identify questions to ask, but they do not establish how often timed sales fail. We have no verified Discord conversations or YouTube comment sample for this article.
A community post may document the author’s experience and subsequent updates, but does not establish the cause of a delay or the current rule for another account. Compare its evidence and date with your own order record; do not turn a reply into a service promise.
Mistakes that cost a timed order
Most failed timed orders share a handful of mistakes, and none of them needs luck to avoid:
- Paying for the slot price without saying what to do at the ordinary price.
- Choosing a size in a hurry because a timer was running.
- Missing a limit written into the title or the option names.
- Pasting a link to a listing that needs a reservation or a draw entry.
- Comparing a top-up request in your own currency instead of in yuan.
